The Heli-Coder 4 (HC4) is a single box solution containing everything needed for high-quality, reliable transmission. This includes the video encoder, modulator, up-converter and high-power amplifier. Standard COFDM modulation offers excellent performance in urban and non-line-of-sight environments. Alternate high-order modulation techniques are available via software updates, enabling the HC4 to adapt to changing operational needs and extending its lifespan.
The HC4 includes a GPS interface to facilitate easy integration into tracking systems and provides 10W output in a light and compact case. In combination with the DLC50 control panel, the HC4 can be mounted within the avionics bay with complete configuration and operational control from the flight deck.
